I suffer from daytime sleepiness too, but I will leave that for another time. May I suggest setting your thermostat up to about 78 degrees to warm up your home about 1/2 hour before you INTEND to wake up. I find being too hot makes me wake up and conversely it also puts me to sleep. Just an idea, but it might help someone suffering from this problem.
