9th day of no smoking!
msrytw posted:
I have tried to quit numerous times. I've recently had problems with bronchitis and sinus infections. I also have circulatory problems with my legs. I saw a commercial on tv. where people had lost their limbs due to smoking and it was the final nail in the coffin. In addition I have high blood pressure and family history of strokes. @ 49yrs old, I have decided to quit after 30 yrs. My cardiologist prescribed me Chantix. This is my 2nd time. It has been 9 days and I have not had a cigarette. The Chantix makes me tired but it is worth it. I am slowly seeing a difference in my body. I used to not be able to walk a block w/o my legs killing me. I have times when I want a cigarette sooo bad! But the longer I go w/o one, the more determined I am. If anyone wants to take this ride with me, you can contact me @ my email. and we can support each other. Wish me luck!
