Short-term smoking - can it cause cancer/stroke/etc?
joevd posted:
I only had smoked maybe 2 packs within a month, for two months as of late, and that's all I've ever smoked - I have quit now because I just don't like the headaches; plus it's just a bad idea to get started, especially with athsma like I have.
Can this small amount of smoking cause anything adverse like an increased risk of cancer or heart problems (cancer seems to run in my family), or stroke? I'm concerned because I am ill-informed about this. Can anyone possibly shine some light on this and hopefully put me at ease about my worries? Thanks!
