    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,
    WebMD Message Boards Management

    Books that may help

I am a Christian, but not a Creationist/New Earth person.

I would like to recommend some books beyond just the Bible.

Francis Collins book, "The Language Of God". This gives the perspective of a scientist who is a long time Christian. All people who understand science are NOT atheists.

A truly beautifully written book that begs to be read over and over is Gwynne Dresser Mack's "Talking With God: The Healing Power of Prayer". It is hard to find, but worth the search. I recently found it on an Australian website.

Then a non-denominational book, a collection of 50 miraculous or near miraculous biographies, "Divine Interventions", by Dan Millman. For people who do not know the details of the Miracle of Guadalupe in Mexico, it is one of them. Imagine a nearly 500 year old garment with an image in HD quality, and the image is nearly 500 years old, too.

In being a good person and thinking of others, life is a prayer.
