    Tendons/ pain
    LLFeag posted:
HI- what is the typical time period for an accident for a small tendon to heal? After falling onto wet rocks, I twisted my ankle- but my ankle was not hurt- the tendons on top of my feet and the outside part was instead- my reg md said to try to walk, yet I cannot- the pain, swelling is too bad. when he saw my face he prescribed crutches- now it still hurts- after ice, elevation n complete rest of 3 days- so what is next? More r & r only? Is there more injury than he thought (I think so!).. so should I go to a sports med dr. next? Please advise after 3 days of pain pills, ice n all the other... thanks!!!
