Shin Pain

jc2911 posted:
For a couple months now, I have noticed a very sharp pain in my left shin. It only happens when I am running, not walking or laying in bed. It does hurt with pressure on it. I read shin splints hurt no matter what, after a sport, laying in bed, or first thing when you wake up. I don't have that. When I run my finger up my shin, I do notice a bump on my shin followed by pain. Could this be a stress fracture? Or just a bad case of a shin splint?
