bunched up tendon
skimbleshanks posted:
I hit a pole (1/4" steel) yesterday and in about an hour there was a bump on the backside of my right hand on the tendon connected to my ring finger. It feels to have pulled and bunched from the wrist side and as I solely move my ring finger the bump moves almost into my wrist and sits naturally, with no flexing, almost half way up my hand. The bump does hurt with added pressure but is fine on its own. There are though, tighter than normal areas in my wrist now. No major pain in movement in any specific direction, but I also haven't moved or stretched the tendon too far where pain might occure out of fear of further injury. Any advice on what I should do about this. I've no insurance.
