Tendons in elbow contracted, limiting range of motion
cn235 posted:
I'm a mid-50's male, lifetime gym rat. Over last 9 years or so, the tendons which connect to/through my right elbow (dominant arm) have gradually contracted so that I can neither fully extend nor contract the arm. At max extension, it is about 15-20 degrees from straight, and at max contraction, I am about one inch from being able to touch my shoulder. No trauma to joint (fall, sprain, etc). Had arthroscopic surgery in Aug 2010, which led to no change. Massage therapist says tendons are like guitar strings. No issues with left, non-dominant arm. Would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.
