I had rotatocuff surgery in Feb. 7 and was in a sling for 6 weeks before
going to PT. My shoulder feels really good but my muscles are so tight
that my therapist can't fully stretch my arm so I can get my range of motion back. We both believe that it is the muscles holding me back and not my rotator cuff from getting my ROM back. Sometimes my muscles are so sore that if you just touch them they hurt. Tomorrow my therapist is going to try the Gratson technique hopefully that helps.

Has anyone had the Gratson Technique before and has it worked? Does it hurt bad?
Also has anyone else had really tight shoulder muscles after rotator cuff surgery?
