(Part I) "I want to drive again" feels so so long ago. (part II) Now at 7 week after ankle roll. PART I I want to drive again.
NumbToes posted: I was told it was a sprain 3 weeks ago. My ankle
was a cantalope and now a softball. My family
has let me sleep downstairs because I'm unable
get up there. I get exhausted with my cruthches.
But I know I need them. There is no way I could drive. Even now. Today I was able to slowly get my heal flat on the foot for ten seconds. Which tells me I have to be getting better.
My question's:
1.Why is my foot so pale, toes light bluish, but not bruised,
2.Will the swelling really go away? Is that when I should be able try to do excercises. Move it
3.blood clots concern me because the swelling has caused so many bulges in my veins.
Sorry so long. Part II Xray reordered. I took pics every day for amusement and maybe boost confidence that although it still does not look feel or show improvement with toes, actually getting anxious about my dryness scaling wondering if my toes will ever move. With all that said... It was expected by most others on this website it takes this long. Since friday I something is changing fast. YEA! Down to one crutch. Heel touches floor. Plus little spasm's of returning signal's. The swelling finally is like an apple. The color red stripe seems to blend with smokish blue ankle. I want to give hope to others as concerned as I was. It does take as long as warned. I am living to avoid any tiny unlevel cracks or rugs. It really feels it wants to roll. My doctor keeps warning me im not ready for rehab. I'm afraid if I am not doing something I should be at this critical time I need to push it a little. Right? Driving on gas petal sustaining preasure is hopefully by sunday mass I can return. Hope this helps someone. Open for input. Diagnoises is 2 laterall tears with stage 3 acute twisted and rolled ankle. It was interesting that because bruise both sides with fluid beneath tissue is a sign of roll both ways. I hope that will make some sense to someone.
