    Ankle injuries

    Anything beyond a grade 1 lateral ankle strain I feel is best treated in a Fx boot and or cast with WBAT or crutches. Follow up xrays a week out also maybe helpful to rule out a fx prior to therapy. After two weeks of rest, ice, nsaids. Formal therapy should start slowly progressing into a strengthening program over time.
