    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Two wierd things with my eyes

I have 2 wierd eye things happen to me and I love to know why I get them. Here they are:

    1) When I go to a web site with a black background with white letters and I look at that for a time I get these white and black lines "watermarked" for a better term (I don't know what to call it) across my eyes. When I look around I see it. But those lines go away in a few minutes.

    2) When I rub my eyes for a time I get wierd kaladascope patterns and then all white.

So why do I get these? Thank you for the help.

My 90 year old mother has the same problem. The doctors told her it was related to her cataracts adn glaucoma problem. She had the cataracts removed and no longer has the "ghost figures" or "watermarks" that you call them.
