stroke caused by fall

My friend had a stroke 1.5 weeks ago. He is super healthy (a nutritionist), low cholesterol, blood pressure, and doesn't have a sugar problem.

Anyways, he was the nicest person you would have ever met. He was never mad about anything in life. He loved people and was also a psychologist. Now that he has had this stroke though, he has a completely different personality. He acts as if he has been drinking and he gets super mean. How long do you think this will last? I miss the way he was. The doctors believe he'll make a full recovery. He has been on xanax for anxiety that he now suffers with.

I doubt that anyone knows how long your friend's recovery will be. In the mean time, try and support him as much as possible. Good luck.
