Hello, I am a 21 year old female with a history fo sickle cell disease ss. On April 5, 2013 I had a stroke that affected my right side. Since then i have been going to physical therapy to strengthen my right leg and to improve my walking. I had my last session on June 20, 2013 and I am dealing with feelings of depression anxiety an disapointment beacause although I've made great progress I am still walking with a slight limp and as superficial as it sounds, I have not gone back to wearing heals, dancing or doing the things that make me feel like my normal self. Whenever I ask questions like will I have a full recovery? the response is always very vague and non specific, and I'm just wondering if there's anyone like me who has had a full recovery and can give me some sense of hope
