Gil Kerlikowske, Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) will deliver a major speech at the Betty Ford Center Monday, June 11, calling on Americans to understand drug addiction as a chronic disease of the brain instead of a moral failure, and outline the importance of Federal, state, local, and community efforts to lift the stigma associated with substance use disorders.
