Do you think it is possible for an opiate addict to stay in a marriage where their spouse takes opiates daily for legit reasons and stay clearn?

The short answer is yes.



If an opiate addict works a solid recovery program and adheres to the principles of the recovery model, there is no reason that this can't happen. The problem arises when one of the partners (usually the addict) starts to scrutinize the word "legit."
