Hi. I'm hoping someone can help me, because I'm a little scared. I've been having a little trouble with rectal bleeding during the past week. It's not much at all, and I do some good-sized hemmorhoids. I have my colonoscopies every 5 years like clockwork, with the last one being right before Thanksgiving 2010. As with all the colonoscopies before, no polyps, no nothing -- clean as a whistle. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February of last year. Very tiny tumor - less than a centimeter - with no metastasis anywhere. I had a mastectomy and I'm taking Femara. All my check-ups with my oncologist have been coming back clear, and my tumor marker has remained in the normal range.

What are the chances that this could be a serious problem? I have an appointment with my family doc on the Friday after Thanksgiving, but I'm just a little scared. Deep down I know that the chances of this being colorectal cancer are VERY SLIM, since I just had the colonoscopy a year ago. But I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you!
