my current INR is 3.3, which is pretty much my normal range. Lately when my hubby scratched my back, or even if i use a back scratcher, it leaves big red scratches all over and they stay there. its actual scratches. and it doesnt even feel like it was scratched hard. is this normal? also, is it normal to bleed during sex from coumadin?

Contact your anti-coagulation monitor or the physician that prescribed coumadin therapy for you with those questions. I've been on AC therapy about 11 years and my target INR 2.0 to 3.0. When it gets to even 3.1 the coumadin clinic tells me to adjust my dose for a day or so, then recheck after 2 weeks instead of a month like normal. I urge you to ask a professional, as it sounds like it might be a serious situation.
