I'm 30, just had a simple surgery done on my ac joint, came out of surgery with the usual swelling. Days later, the swelling didnt go away, the arm was blueish, hot to the touch and in pain. I was told I had DVT. I did the lovenox shots, I am taking the warfarin, but it's not working, my INR tests are not improving and I am slowly taking higher doses of it. My arm has a lot of pain, up and down from shoulder to wrist. My arm goes numb, my fingers go numb, I feel like i have a "charlie horse" in my forearm and it's scaring me. Do I keep going to physical therapy? What's causing the numbness?
