Hyperthyroidism, Alcohol Metabolism

So this is my first post! YAY.

I was wondering about the effects of hyperthyroidism in regards to alcohol. Does the body metabolize alcohol faster when you have a hyperthyroid? Would a person with hyperthyroidism sober up faster than a person without a thyroid probelm, given that they both consumed the same amount of liquor at the same time? Is it possible that they could feel sober and fine, but yet have a blood alcohol level of over .01%?

Any links to articles explaining this would be super extra awesome also.
