I guess I don't have to worry. My thyroid test came back normal. I wonder why my thyroid is enlarged? Has anyone gone through this just curious?

So should I see an endocronologist(i think its spelled wrong) to check why my thyroid is enlarged even though blood test came back normal?

Yes I think you should see an Edocrinologist. Did you have an ultrasound of your thyroid? If not you should also get that done. My thyroid functions are normal but an ultrsound picked up multiple nodgles. I went for another ultrasound with needle biopsy and the 1 nodgle turned out to be a tumor with cancer.
Even though the blood work is normal dosen't always mean that there is not something else going on. You should look into why the thyroid is enlagred. I am now facing a thyroidectomy.

I did have an ultrasound but no nodules or anything. Normal blood test, normal ultrasound. I think i will see an endocrin. Thanks for all your help.

michiv, I had an enlarged thyroid for just over 25 years before I needed to start to take meds for hypothyroidism. I do not know how old you are, but do not panic! If you need another opinion for peace of mind, do so, but anything with the thyroid is very slow growing/changing! I also don't suggest you ignore it forever. Just do another blood test next year if you feel comfortable waiting. Mine started out as hyperthyroidism... and eventually became hypo (I was diagnosed a year ago with Hashimoto's Disease). Best wishes!
