    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

I'm a 42 year old female with hypothyroid. I also have 3 nodules. Supposedly my levels are good but I continue to gain weight. Has anyone found a diet that works??

This is only my opinion. I have had Graves for 15 years nnow. When my levels are "really" on then I can lose weight. If they are off "nothing" works. I run/bike over 100 miles a month and I run 5K races every month or two. I am currently ggaining weight. My thyroid levels read good but I do not believe them. I think there are a couple different tests. I'm asking for all the tests there are to be done because I have every symptom there is. I think just a little bit off makes a huge difference. However, best diet is in my opinion weight watchers but even that I can't always lose. It's an uphill battle. Good luck.
