Armour Thyroid and Synthroid Combo Question

    Hello all,

I have a question that hopefully someone can assist me in answering. I have been taking Armour thyroid for some time for Hypothyroidism. My free T4 has stayed below normal on this, so I recently added Synthroid along with my Armour to bring my T4 up. It has worked and both my T4 and T3 are in the normal range and have even risen the last two tests, yet my TSH has stayed at 0.015. Does anyone have an idea as to why my TSH would not change?
I have been tested for antibodies and it has come back negative. Also, prior to adding the Synthryoid, my TSH was at 0.164, then the first test after adding Synthryoid went to 0.015. Any answers you can give me is greatly appreciated. My Dr. has been a great support, yet she is not knowledgeable enough on this front and she tried to send me back to the Endocrinologist, which of course, refuses to see me unless I completely transition back to Synthetic T4 regimen only, which my response was, not going to happen.

    Thank you
