CDC reports women over 40 had a 4% increase in birthrate for 2008

Good news for those women who are over 40 and trying to conceive. While the overall birthrates were down in 2008, women over 40 had a 4% increase.

There is some speculation I saw in one news article that advancement in reproduction assistance is helping couples later in life to conceive.
