Hi everyone. I haven't been on in such a long time. I am now at 21 months of ttc and am getting really frustrated. I am on my last cycle of clomid before my doctor is going to refer me to a fertility specialist. Any ideas on whats in store next? The only test i have had done is a fsh, lh and thyroid test which all came back good. And my husband had his semen analysis which also came back normal. I just feel like its never going to happen.

Going to the reproductive endocrinologist next sounds like your best next move. There they can do all kinds of other testing and move you on to the next "level" like to IUI or in vetro if needed.

Good luck! I know we all know what you mean - it does feel like it'll never happen! But don't give up! Hugs and good luck to you!

Hi and welcome back to the board  I know how you feel we have been trying since we were married July 08. We got pregnant last Jan, only to miss carry after 8 weeks. That is when all my problems started. I would definetly suggest going to see a RE (reproductive endocrinologist) I have been seeing one now for about 5 month. I really feel like we are making headway. I will am on my 3rd month of Clomid and I stopped O'ing on it so they are increasing my dose for next month. They are also doing another SA on DH tomorrow to see if it comes out better than last time. And I am planning on scheduling an HSG to see if I have any blocked tubes. I wish you the best of luck and don't get discouraged. I would definetly go see and RE. They are better at helping you get pregnant and OB/GYN are good at keeping you pregnant. Good Luck

Welcome back... We all feel that way at some point. I agree that you are on the right track moving ahead to see the RE, and it will help to have a plan. DH and I just went through what was supposed to be our first IUI, but I O'd before we could do it :frown: But I was talking with my pastor's wife (who went through the IF journey) and she said, "We go through this so that God's light shines through the miracle of birth and being a mommy, and then there's no doubt who the miracle is from."
