Test Results...Please Help!
nittanyp posted:
Hi husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 14 months. Two weeks ago I had some blood work done. My results were as follow: FSH=7.5 Prolactin=22.1 and TSH=2.07 Also, I had a Pelvic ultrasound and a transvaginal ultrasound done. Both were report to me as 'normal.' I have a period every 28-31 days and it lasts about 6 days. Can someone please help to explain to me what these lab results mean. I don't know what the next step to take is. Thanks.

I'm not sure what the results been but as for you're menstrual you seem very regular. Has your husband had tests done on him? after a year of ttc thats usually recomended. For us we assumed I was the problem we werent concieving until my husband had a sperm analysis done and his results came back with low sperm count. Also are you tracking your fertile and ovulation days. That is very key to knowing when to time yourslef to have sex for better chance of conception. If you havent started seeing a fertility specialist I would recommend to start there and most will usually have the men start testing right away along with checking you completley. Hope this is any help
