My husband and I have been ttc since we go married 2yrs ago. I am 26 and my husband is just about to turn 30. I have hypothyroidism (being treated since 2006). I may have miscarried about 15 months ago but it was never "diagnosed" my doctor just suspected. (I wasn't far enough along for any conclusive tests she said)

I have an OB/GYN. We are charting ovulation, temp, and cervical fluid. We started charting about 6 months ago and it feels like it will never happen for us. It has gotten to the point that we are frustrated and about to give up.

Now we have 9 friends/relatives that are pregnant or have just had a baby within the last 6 months! 9!!!! All of our friends and family are trying to offer support but I find myself resenting them and hating myself for that. 5 of them were "preventing" when they conceived. I just need someone to talk to who understands the pain and frustration I feel.

Is there is anything I should be doing differently? I need to know!

  • Lurking from Pregnancy after Infertility*

My husband and I were ttc for over 2 years before we started seeing a specialist. Turns out, I had to have uterine polyps removed twice, and have IVF for us to conceive our twins. Ask your OB/GYN if they know of a good Reproductive Endocrinologist. In my case, there was no chance of us conceiving naturally because of my PCOS and polyps. We needed treatment that our OB couldn't provide, so that's why he referred us.

I'm so sorry that you're going through this pain. I understand all too well how it feels when people all around you are experiencing the joys of having children when you can't. Just don't give up.
