TTC since june 11. Nov 11 AF late 9 days, horrible pain, heavy bleeding, and last 8 days. Dec 11 same scenario. Jan late again and not a bad AF symptoms but worse than regular. Gyne squad puts me on BCP to raise hormone levels for conception. Anyone heard of this? DR knows I am trying to conceive, she called back to say bd every other day up to day 18 and call her back if I get a pos hpt or AF at the end of the month. She doesn't seem to be worried about side effects or ttc being affected by this. Does she know something other DR dont? Maybe she is just trying to jump-start something? I googled this over and over again with no results. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have not heard of that. Did you ask the doctor how it's supposed to work?

I did see something about using it to time harvesting eggs for IVF, but that wouldn't apply to you.
