I jumped on here for two reasons, to see what others are doing to get pregnant and to rant. My sister is in the same boat. She has been trying to get pregnant now for 6 months. She had been on bc for several years prior. Regardless, my husband and I were also trying and we were not super anxious because we were told it could take up to a year. However, 4 months later I am pregnant. Which is exciting, yet, my pregnancy is so far not a very healthy one. When I called to tell her the lasted update of my baby's health (high chance of a neurological disability) all I got was, "at least you can get pregnant." I imagine how difficult and frustrating it can be for you ladies but please, feelings of resentment have their place! And, in my case, where I sought support from someone important I got snubbed.

That was not the right thing to say. Even though you are pregnant, it doesn't mean you aren't scared & worried for your baby's health. Don't stress too much because I've heard of doctor's saying stuff like that & the baby grows up to be a healthy child. When you come to places like this, expect to be treated gently & respectfully. Best of luck to you and your baby's health! xoxo

That's awful. I cannot imagine what you're going through right now because I too have been trying for quite some time without success. I know we all have our weak moments when seeing others around us get pregnant, but definately need to be there for our loved ones no matter what! We need to be slow to speak and quick to listen to one another. As I'm writing this post, I'm saying a prayer for you and your precious baby.

Thank you for your kind words. I was upset and needed to vent somewhere so I appreciate the support. We've got two more weeks before we are in the clear. As far as stressing, yeah, freaking out won't change outcomes. You just never know! To both, good luck conceiving. I guess to all of us....things happen for a reason!
