Getting questioned "when are you going to have babies"?

I hate being asked this question. I get asked by immediate family, in-laws, friends and even co-workers. I don't want to tell everyone that we have been ttc for 8 months! I am ashamed that it is taking this long, and so afraid that something is wrong with me/us. I just am not sure how to answer this question. Most of the time I just laugh and say "I don't know". But really I am crying inside. How does everyone else answer this question? How do you deal with the disappointment every month that af shows up?

I used to say,"Oh, maybe one day". Like I wasn't sure I when I wanted kids. I still say that sometimes depending on who I'm talking to but other times when people tick me off I say, "Well, I dont know we have been trying for over a year and my body is just not cooperating" Then they have this look on their face like they never thought of that! I figure if they are going to make me feel bad then I will make them feel bad!
Me-24 DH-37 TTC 1 for 9 months. 1st round of Clomid 12/29. Start 2nd round Feb 1st.
