I called my new obgyn ( my old one moved) to schedule an appointment and I was told that the Dr will see me when I am about 7-8 weeks, which is fine. They scheduled an app. for me on April 30th.I informed them about my past m/c and DD being born 10 weeks early and I get a phone call from the Dr. in the afternon asking me to go to the nearest hospital right away b/c he ordered a couple of tests for me (progesterone and hcg),that was friday afternoon. He also said that I will have to go back on sunday at the same time for retesting and Monday they will call me about the results and if they need to prescribe progesterone.I don't know how I'm going to make till Monday,I am terrified ladies.

Ani, I know all too well how you are feeling now, but I think it is very good that your new OB took the time to order those tests for you, they seem to listen to what their patients tell them and that can only be least if there was to be an issue with progesterone they would know early enough..I think they are being pro-active and I like that..until Monday try not to stress..I know that will be harder to do than it was to write but tell yourself that this is a new pregnancy and that what happened before was with a completely different you'll have all of us sending you calming vibes and sticky BB vibes
Try to relax and keep your mind occupied until you get those results and don't forget to KUP!
If you need us we are here to talk..

I(((Hugs))) Ani. Wow, your new OB sounds great!!

With ^Jackson^ I do not think I had progesterone issues, but with Juliet I went in for early testing like you and it turned out my progesterone was low... it was pretty low actually!! I was really surprised and SO THANKFUL I had done the bloodwork and got the supplements.

Really glad your new OB is so proactive. I DO remember the panicky lightheaded feeling I would get when the phone rang each time with results. We are here if you need us! Deep breaths!! more ((((hugs))))!

I think it is definitely a great thing, that your doctor is so on top of things. So many times, they are not in a hurry and it is so frustrating. Try to not worry this weekend and think positive thoughts!!!!

One day at a time....It is AWESOME that you have a doc that is so on top of it. Focus on getting your blood work done, and just lay low...."Baby steps", if you will. Good luck!!

Thank you everyone.Your very kind words made me feel a lot better.I am feeling the same about my Dr. I was gladly surprised that he wanted me to do the testing early.
I have been feeling ok but I have slept a lot today,it's rainy and stormy here and that doesn't help. Thanks again.

I think its great that you have a doctor that is so proactive. I sometimes wonder if things would be different for me if my doc had ordered early testing. Best wishes
