    Hey everyone, how's everyone doing?
    Mercerswife posted:
    Hey ladies, sorry it's been a while since I've been on here. I need to catch up with you ladies, so please comment and let me know how everyone's doing! I feel terrible, but have been so busy and distracted lately that it's hard to keep up with everything.
    My update: I just had laparascopic surgery on Wednesday. Had an hsg done in March which showed my right tube as being blocked, so I opted for the surgery to unblock it as well as look around to see if there are any other issues going on. I discovered after the surgery that the tube is not blocked, have PCOS and Endometrosis. The doc found a few cysts, one functional on my left side (probably the cause of the severe pain I've had the last 2yrs) and one on my uterus which the doc removed. He also removed some scar tissue and ran more dye through my tubes to ensure they're open. YAY!! lol. Anyhow, my husband has been gone on training this whole last week and will not be back til mid May, really stinks not having him here to take care of me but oh well. So we begin trying again next cycle when he comes home, so I'm back to praying this works. Also am starting 150mg Clomid on day5-9, so I'm hoping that works.
    Anyhow, I'm so sorry I haven't had time to keep up with all the threads and posts so I hope to hear from you ladies on how you're doing and what you're going through. I've discovered this is a tough journey and have turned to God more for strength to continue. It is not easy to feel so alone and I want everyone to know I do care about you and if I can pray for anyone or just listen to someone vent, feel free. I love you ladies because you don't judge and understand feelings and emotions we go through. A lot of my family and friends don't understand and trying to talk to them about this anymore is like banging my head against a wall so I've come to realize this is the place for me to do so. Hope to hear from you ladies soon! Baby dust to all!

    Hi Lacey, welcome back! I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through a rough patch but it seems that you came out of it better informed on what is going on with you body..I wonder if the pains that you referred to are the same that I feel..I was told that it's probably because I am getting older (I'm 34)..I somehow don't accept that diagnosis and I know there is something..I'm sorry you have been diagnosed with PCOS and least now though you will have treatment options and your Doc will know what to do to help you conceive..
    YAY for open tubes!! Lol..
    Don't apologize so much for not being you said, we all understand each other and the pressures we live through day to day..I too feel like you do that this is the only place where I can truly be understood ladies just get it no matter what there is to get and there is nowhere else where I walk away afterwards feeling better than here..
    Thank goodness for you ladies
    I will be starting TTC again after my last m/c (in March)..
    CD9 today, started testing w/ OPK's was not a positive but the line was def. darker than yesterday's..if this is any indication I should O earlier that expected so I am so glad I decided to test earlier..they do say that one can be more fertile after a loss so here's hoping!
    Baby dust to all my ladies indeed

    I'm glad to hear from you. I have been wondering about you. You have definitely had a lot going on. I'm sorry you had to have surgery, but it looks like it was worth it. Hopefully, all that they did during the surgery will result in a BFP. I'm excited for you to be able to try again next cycle! I can't wait to see how it goes. I'm sure the surgery has given you some renewed hope. Please know that we are praying for you and hoping you will be having some good news in the near future. I'm also have been directed to schedule a HSG. I'm just so nervous about the procedure and what it might show. Glad you are back and hope you are feeling better every day from the lap.

    I understand what you mean about banging your head against a wall... I used to think I could explain it enough to *make* them understand, but reality is only a very few close to me truly get it and the rest never will. Blessed to have a place to share
    I am on my 4th month of TTC this time. I am using OPKs and am entering the TWW. It took us over a year to get pg with our angel and only 3 months with Juliet, so hoping for a BFP this month.
    I looked at getting an HSG after we lost Jackson but it was determined it wasn't neccessary... I have heard many different takes on the procedure so I hope yours fell into the easy category and was not too painful. I am glad they had some answers for you, too. That helps so much (mentally).
    I hope these next few weeks treat you well, it will be midMay before you know it.

    Vybe-I'm so sorry to hear of your m/c! I think I posted when it happened, but if I didn't, I am now. Did you pass it all naturally? Was this your first? Did they give an indication as to what may have gone wrong? J/w. I'm glad you're still on track with trying though. I wish you the best. I hope they can get things figured out, have you discussed adding aspirin to your daily regimen? My regular pc doc told me all my levels were normal, however my fertility doc decided otherwise. So I take baby aspirin and can tell a big difference, seems like things are flowing better, although it sucks if I cut myself. LOL. Just something to think about. Hope you get your BFP soon and have fun BD'ing!!
    Pray- It's good to hear from you, although I really hoped you'd have a bfp by now. But I'm glad you haven't given up. Have you ever had an HSG test before? I would recommend having your DH go with. The nurse held my hand and when I found out the tube was blocked and wouldn't open, I fought tears and was very emotional. Have you ever been diagnosed with endo or PCOS? Take some ibuprofen and bring your own pad is the only other part. Which type are they doing? They did the X-ray and MBI (dye) to see if they were open and blew open a mucus plug. Anyhow, it's not too terrible. If you by chance have a Valium or pain killer, I would advise it just because it's kind of uncomfortable and that will help you relax. It's not so bad though. It's more emotional b/c your scared of what they could find but hope they find something so they can fix it. good luck. When do you have this done?? Keeping you in my prayers!! KMP!
    Becky-Many docs decide not to do the test b/c you did get preggo, however they did one one me which prompted the surgery. I'll explain what was found later but I would discuss that option if you don't get preggo this month. Worst part is using protection bd'ing until the procedure. lol. Cause you could have other problems going on that may make it easier. Good luck in your 2ww and KUP! Baby vibes your way! {{}}
    My update- It is 12 days past surgery and I am feeling great since last week. It is CD3, going to 150mg clomid CD5-9. This surgery did bring on my period early which is great bc my dh has been gone for a month on training and doesn't come back until a few days before I'm due to O. So excited, perfect timing for once! They found two cysts, one functional on my left ovary and one on my uterus they removed. They also found scar tissue, likely from my d&c in 08 and removed that as well. If I'm not pg by the time my dh deploys later this year we will treat the endo and wait until he returns to start more treatment... Hoping it doesn't come to that, although going through most/all of a pregnancy without my dh will suck but will be worth it. So anyhow, I'm glad to hear from you ladies. Talk to you soon. Keeping you all in my prayers. Baby vibes to you all! {{}}

    Hi Lacy,
    Good to hear from you. I'm glad your DH comes home at the right time. I've always wondered how military wives manage to get pregnant with that narrow window of ovulation time and husbands gone for so long:) I hope this is your month--the timing seems to be great!

    As for me, I had a 3rd m/c so they are finally doing some testing. I really thought this was the one though...I made it all the way to 11w3d before i started bleeding. I'm just wating on the results of the bloodwork and then deciding whenther I want to see a specialist or not. I like my doctors but a friend recommended a specialist and I'm wondering if they would do more tests or try more things?? We'll see.

    Good talking to you again and good luck this month!

    Hey Michelle, sorry I have been out of town the last two weeks.
    I am so sorry to hear you've had a 3rd m/c. That's what I'm so afraid of!! My doc also said if I had another m/c then we'd do some tests but we didn't discuss what types of testing. My fertility specialist has done lots of blood work and has me on baby aspirin, even though my PCM on post says I don't have a clotting issue,along with tons of folic acid, vitamins, etc.
    It seems like I'm the only Army wife having this issue. Everyone else I know has kids and has no problems conceiving when they're home or when they come home for mid tour leave from a deployment. I know I'm not the only wife, but I feel like I am. Lately, every wife I've been introduced to and hit it off with has ended up preggo (most on accident) within a week of meeting them. It rly sucks because I don't know many people here at our new post and I certainly don't want to talk about pregnancy and baby plans until I have my own. It's just hard. Anyhow...
    Have you gotten the results back and maybe pinpointed a problem?? I hope this message finds you doing well and to hear from you soon. Baby vibes to all you ladies!

    I'm sorry that everyone you hit it off with ends up preggo. We all understand those jealousy feelings even though that doesn't always make it better Its so hard--its like I want to be happy for people so they are happy for me too, but the feelings of envy just completely take over my good judgement.
    I have heard back about my bloodwork and they were negative for a clotting disorder--but thats interesting that the specialist has you taking a baby aspirin even though the reg. OB said you dont have a clotting disorder. I am leaning more and more toward finding a specialist. I feel like if this happens again I would just die. We are also looking into the genetic testing. We have an appt with a genetic counselor on June 7th. She will let us know the cost and how much insurance will pay at that point. I just want an answer...
    Good talking with you
    Take care!
