Well yesterday didn't go so well with the insurance co. I had a prescription for 4 drugs and 2 have to be mixed together (keep in mind one doesn't work without the other, and they have to be mixed no more than 30 minutes before injection so they are considered 2 ) but the ins co had only 3 approvals the one missing was the other half. By then the RE office was closed so I had to pay for one day worth because it was a little over $400.00, I could have paid $60 less if I wouldn't put in a claim but my thought was if the ins covered the other drugs hopefully they cover this one, and I had to hope the approval went through today. Thank goodness I had enough of the other med from my last try to hold me over for a day. Well good news the approval went through so now they ship it overnight and because the meds have to be refrigerated they put a rush on them. I still don't get how this is cheaper for them to ship the meds overnight from Illinios to Alabama instead of me just getting them locally from a pharmacy specialist thats local. So now I'm just waiting for the meds to come to my door step and then I can submit my claim to get some of my $400.00 back. Thank you ladies for your thoughts. I hope these meds don't make me moody I would feel sorry for my DH, according to wedmd one of the side effects is moodiness.
Me 43 DH 41 DS 9/10/10 2m/c @ 8wks 4/09 and 11 wks d/c 9/09 diagnosed w/ 2 mutations of MTHFR. TTC 2 m/c3 9/11. Moved up to clomid 100 m/c4 2/2012. Moved on to injections.

((Hugs)) Perry, I'm so sorry you have to deal with all this on top of the TTC issues..as Ani says isn't it enough that we all have a hard time just conceiving, wouldn't you think that we could catch a break elsewhere??

Why can't anything be easy? You go through enough stress with a medicated cycle and then you have to deal with all this. I have always found it weird that I would handle ordering the trigger shots myself from a pharmacy out of state. Then you have to arrange when to ship it and make sure to get it refrigerated. Too much stress, wish it could be easier for you. Hopefully, it will be all worth it in the end. Wishing you lots of luck!
