    Help! Paranoid????
    northern_girl posted:
    I am 10 weeks today.

The last couple of days have been horrible at work, physically and mentally.
I just used the bathroom and had a very small (less than a 1/2 inch) amount of mucus that had brown tinge.

Am I starting to m/c, or just being paranoid????

From what I've been told, brown blood is usually old blood left over from maybe your last AF but just to be sure if I were you I would call the Dr. just to be sure.Wishing you the best!

Hoping everything is okay. Probably nothing, like Ani more than likely left over from something else. Sometimes bding can cause this as well. Keep us posted.

Hi there Northern..I will echo my ladies and say that it is probably nothing (but for peace of mind, do call your OB or go in to see one)
In the first trimester it is normal to lose some mucus and it being tinged is also very normal..there is sometimes some leftover blood from a last period or sometimes what tried to start before you got your BFP..
If you have to see any tinge (or blood) during pregnancy, you want it to be brown like yours..
    Sounds all good to me!
As I said, for added peace of mind, do call your OB to signal what happened and he/she will counsel you on what's up..

I already had an appointment scheduled for this Thursday. My OB didn't want me to have to wait a month for my second check.

Hoping everything is fine! Like everyone else said...brown blood is nothing to worry about. If you've had sex recently, it could just be from a little irritation to the cervix. Relax and think positive thoughts. Best wishes...i'm sure everything will be fine!

Ok. OB appt. went great. Got another U/S, but only because they wanted to hear the heartbeat

Dr. said the spotting was normal and that I'm "getting very pregnant"

Made me so happy. Go back in a month.

And I may be getting a house....or at least hope too
