Hello all, I was hoping someone could help me with a problem I'm having, I'm just not sure it's something i need to call my doctor over.
I had a miscarriage and D and C back in May when I was 4 months pregnant. My husband and I are ttc again, and my 5 cycles have all been normal, except for the fact that I get brown discharge with small brown clots a few days before I ovulate (about the same time my cervix opens and softens). I've never had this before my MC. it stops the day before I get a positive ovulation test. Has this happened to anyone else? should I call my doctor about it?

So sorry for your loss. I do think you should call your Doctor to be in be in the safe side but I do want to mention that after each miscarriage my cycles changed. After my first m/c I noticed that I was spotting during ovulation,it never happened b4.PMS symptoms got really bad about 1 week b4 AF would show. After my 2nd m/c all of that changed again,no spotting and there is barely any symptoms.

I've had terribly bad PMS the week before AF as well...I was just worried that the blood would hurt sperm count or if its a symptom of something else.

I am not sure if the bleeding would hurt the sperm or not but I would still call the Dr and discuss all of the recent symptoms that you've been having. Good Luck, hopefully the bleeding stops soon.

Thank you Ani, it's just frustrating not to know what's going on with my own body. I feel like I'm in Limbo...

No problem at all. I wasn't very helpful, sometimes menstrual cycles are weird especially after a m/c. Hopefully you'll get an answer.
