Miscarriage book ***TRIGS***
l8dsheena posted:
I bought this book back in December, and it's one of the things that helped to bring me to acceptance after grieving over the loss of my son. Even if you don't happen to be Catholic, this book was written by a woman who had many miscarriages, and is written in such a way that it's like talking to a friend who understands exactly what you're feeling. It also has many recources for memmorials, etc. One of the most profound things she says is "to accept life as a mother, we also have to accept death." It's made me proud to be a mother to all 4 of my children.
I'm posting this now because I just left my copy in the local chapel in hopes it will help someone who needs it....and I also wanted to share it with my friends here!
I love you gals! <3
Myself (Katie, 29) and DH(31) Praying and trying for a 4th child for 3 years. 1 missed m/c @ 17 weeks, D/C 3 weeks later on 5/11/12.
As Aragorn says, there's always hope.

Thank you Katie for sharing this
It makes me realise though that if you look at it that way, to say that you are proud to be a mother to all 4 of yours, that I'm a mother to way too many!!! The losses when I was younger plus all the ones since I've started to have kids...but I am still proud to have known each and every one of them in their own time...I'm just sorry I had to go through so many losses in my lifetime
...and girl, we love you too <3
