    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    First Transvaginal Ultrasound

My husband and I have been ttc for 2 years now. I've had day 3 blood work done (normal), and HSG (1 tube blocked but probably just spazzing) and his anaylsis done (normal). I have my first day 3 transvaginal ultrasound in a few days and then a Clomid consultation. I'm super excited about the possibility of going on medication soon but I'm TERRIFIED of the ultrasound. I'm so scared they're going to find a giant mass or cancer or something. Has anyone else had this done? How did yours go?

I had one a few times. Some for cysts and the last one on my ttc visit with ob. It is just a thin wand and as long as you have a decent tech it shouldn't be bad. Mine was normal that was at the end of August, I'm now on my 5th month trying to conceive and still scared that they missed something!!!
