    TTC: Just starting out.

My boyfriend and I are ttc. This is our second month at it. I understand that we are possibly in for a long journey, I have read so much literature that I feel like I myself can be a gynocologist now. Lol. However with so much out there, so many pointers and do's and dont's, I was hoping to hear from others who are ttc or those that have been able to. What is your BEST advice? I think it is funny that there are so many young couples who accidentally get pregnant by irresponsibility however when we actually try to concieve it is SO difficult! I think that this past month I put so much thought into it I actually made my period late. I am never late, I always run on a 28 day cyle and I was 5 days late. dissapointing!
So what is some of your best advice when ttc? Thank you very much!

The advice I keep getting is to relax and let nature take its course. It's not the easiest thing to do when you really want a positive pregnancy test. I am just trying to stay busy and not focus on whether or not this will be the month. Good luck and I wouldn't mind any other advice myself either!

I just got advice today from a girl that has PCOS & has been trying for YEARS to have her baby (whom is now 3 months old), and she told me the best thing to do is have both DH & I drink LOTS of water. The water will help thin out the CM needed during ovulation, and having DH hydrated for his little swimmers is an added plus. Also, her fertility specialist told her that the day you START your period, count to the 12th day after and starting having, like, a lot of crazy sex for the next few days! Haha! I am taking this into consideration, plus bought OPKs for this month. This is our 3rd month of ttc, and if it doesn't happen this month, it's getting put on hold until April to avoid having a baby in October-December due to both our sons are in November, and I don't want them to have another sibling with the same/close birthday! So I REALLY want it to happen this month!! Baby dust to you ladies!! Fingers crossed!!
