A derby friend of mine studies "lady business" and is a very serious researcher and professor. My cycle has been so wonky lately, that this article helped me calm down and trust my body.

I read the article and i def makes sense. It leads me to question though, unless my body understands that I can devote the energy to a pregnancy, I won't conceive? Its seems like very good evidence but very little hard fact. It would still be every womans body each running on its very own level of understanding and each different scenario would lead to a different outcome. And yet, women with relativley similar lifestyles, habits and diet, can still have such different hormonal changes, leading to different outcomes. I wish there was a comparison with the study showing how the hormone panel compares to the data.
Science shows us that our cycles are regulated through hormones our body secretes by different organs. Is she saying that the ouside factors each woman is exposed to can cause significant changes within these organs to not regulate within our body's normal ranges?
It would be interesting to do a study with both fields of data and compare them to get a more accurate understanding of which factors affect the difference in levels regulating hormones. being able to input that data into charts could give women a better understand of how each lifestyle factor affects her individual fertility.
