Yet another failed round.

Sorry I haven't posted very often these pass couple weeks. I've just been feeling so down in the dumps about all of this.
Another heart breaking month. I went in today for my mid cycle scan and again nothing. I'm supposed to go in on Thursday just to "make sure" it failed. I was on 150 mg clomid this time along with the Dexamethasone. I'm not sure how many more times I can take this heart break. I'm just so angry, sad, and confused. This is definitely the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. Been doing this almost a year now and still not making progress. I asked the Dr. I saw today what next and he told me I'd have to wait and see my original Dr who I first had a consultation with. This upset me as I've only ever seen this Dr twice. Once on my first visit and then as a follow up after I've had all the tests done. I've gone three rounds now without him, and now they want me to see him. I've read where some cases they up the dose of clomid on the mid day cycle or even given an injectable but they wouldn't today without me talking to him first. That really upset me. When I go back in on Thursday I'm insisting on injectables. I'm tired of wasting time and money ( about $600 a month OOP) for nothing, I just can't seem to get my body to ovulate. I know injectables cost more but I've been told they're more likely to work. I don't even want to waste the time on Femara. Maybe I'm being unreasonable and not rational at this time, but I'm just so fed up and tired of feeling like a failure and depressed. I know a couple of you have taken injectables and I'm just curious what your thoughts are on them. Did they work, how did you feel, ect? Thanks for letting me vent, I hope you all are having better luck than I am.

I'm sorry it didn't work. I know how frustrated you feel. I went 3 rounds of Clomid then was refered to a "infertility specialist" (not and RE) and had to do another 3 with him. The Met didn't work...nothing seems to work. Maybe when you go see this other doc he will be able to get your treatment moving along a bit quicker. Hang in there!

CEB85, I am so sorry the clomid didn't work for you. I know exactly how hard it is. There's nothing more to say than it plain ol sucks. Try not to get too down on yourself. Are you growing follicles and just not ovulating? Or are you not even growing follicles? Please feel free to email me and I can talk to you more about my current cycle with daily injections, and everything in general. jmael12@gmail.com

I'm so, so sorry. I can't imagine what you have been through. I still haven't completely got over my one cycle that was unresponsive. I think you def need to stand your ground and push for another protocol. This is not working and they should be ready to try a different approach. I just want to send you lots of hugs and prayers for better days ahead.

Thank you all so very much for all your replies. You all are the best and I'm so thankful I can come here and talk with you. Its such a hard thing we're all going through and being able to talk about it with others who know what its like makes it a little easier.
Mabeline12, thanks for your email. I appreciate it and will be contacting you. I'm very interested to hear about your cycle and how you're doing with injectables and any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated, and no, I do not ovulate on my own.

Femara caused me to ovulate on the first cycle. There's a coupon from the manufacturer that you might can get from your doctor or go online and get one that makes 30 pills free. There's also a generic.

I did an Ovidrel trigger shot last month, and it worked great. My RE is increasing my Femara this month, because he wants me to have a stronger ovulation, but I did produce 4 follicles.
