Biggest Pet Peeve: obnoxious teenagers lol
Favorite TV show: Bones
Favorite Drink: I'm definitely in a Diet Dr Pepper phase right now lol

How long have you been TTC: a little over 2 and a half years

Current medication regimine: 2000mg metformin, prenatal vitamins, B complex vitamin, 1200 cal a day diet
Do you have infertility coverage: nope
Anything else?? I agree with Amanda! Wouldn't that be something for us to meet and hash out all our similar feelings! There definately couldn't be any men within a 2 mile radius! lol On a more serious note, I am also very glad to have found this board. I have felt for a long time that I can't talk to anyone becuase they don't understand. Whenever I try to talk to DH it seems like he doesn't understand how serious this is even though we have been trying so long. Every once in a while I see his disappointment in himself, but most of the time it's just "oh, well maybe next month!". I wish I had his optimism. Then everyone else throws out, "well you're still young, you have time!" That doesn't change the fact that we can't afford IVF so this may never be possible, and dealing with that outcome is just plain scary.

Did I mention I'm a talker and I tend to ramble and randomly float from one barely related topic to another? It definitely translates to my typing... lol
DH (38) and I (24) have been TTC my 1st, his 3rd since Jan. 2008 Currently on 2000mg Metformin Prenatal Vitamins and 1200cal/day diet... fingers crossed! Good Luck everyone!

Hi Samantha!

I moved to Ohio with my DH about 4 yrs ago. We live 20 mins north of Cincinnati...I love living in Cincinnati.

But I miss my hometown..the area we live in is similar but still within 5 mins of the hustle and bustle.

It is a small world!!! So I am new to the whole PCOS just found out Friday.. Do you have anything you think is good for me to know that would be great!

Kofie replied to Swilson44's response:
I don't really have anything good to share, the only thing that is working for me is the Metformin....

Back in 2005 I had a procedure called the Ovarian Waffle Technique done. Since the PCOS creates a eggshell coating on your ovaries, they use a laser (I think) to burn holes in your ovaries. It worries me cause there hasn't been another Dr that knows what that is. I am so afraid he ruined my ovaries, but my new Dr seems to think it is ok and IUI is going to be our only chance due to DH's low morphology. But hey miracles happen everyday and that is what I tell myself many times a day.

I wish you the best of luck with it all!
