clomid? dose it really work?

i took 6 round of clomid and still no results now i am just to tired to face another round and come up disappointed like the last time i took it. you see the last time i took it was in january of 2010. i started it in november of 2009 but no luck. at this time my nephew who was 16 yrs old at the time got back with his girlfriend. she was always she was older she hated the fact my aunt and i was close so she told my nephew that she wanted to have his kid, but 4months before that she was pregnant and she made herself miscarry the baby cause she didnt want kids so he broke up with her. well she told him the only way she would was to do this was when i was trying. he belived her well i wasnt pregnant come febuary but she was and she rubbed it in everyday all the way up till she had the baby. and she still dose cause she really likes to make me mad and she knows it hurts me so bad.

the worst part is me and my nephew dont really talk that much anymore cause he lets his girlfriend rubb it in my face that she has 2 boys and i aint got any.

I'm so sorry for the way your nephew's girlfriend treats you. I wish I had info about Clomid, but I haven't started taking it just yet. There is a Clomid board under Trying to Conceive. That would be a great place to ask too. Do you see a gyno/obgyn? Just wondering if you don't see a RE and you have already taken six rounds of Clomid, now would be a good time to see one. There are other types of ovulation medications that may help you more. Good luck!

Prayforamiracle-Me(35)PCOS Dh(42)MFI TTC since 11/06. Only pregnancy ended in loss in July 2007. On 1500mg of Metformin. Currently on Cycle 22.
