So I am lurking from the first trimester board. Im 8 weeks along due April 23rd and I am already starting to show! I mean I have alot of extra left over weight from my first pregnancy mainly because I gained 60 pounds (I was a tiny girl then) because I was in a wheel chair for the last half of my pregnancy due to a fall I had. Well the extra weight is already starting to round out and feel hard and I am an identical twin myself and twins period run in my family! Usually its supposed to switch a generation but that was supposed to happen with my biological mom and my sis and I were supposed to be the ones it hit. Plus the fact that my daughter has a double crown(the whirl on her head where her hair grows out) on her head and one of my mom's friends told me that there is an old wives tale saying that if one of your children has a double crown your next one will be twins! At first it scared me to think about having twins but as time went by I got used to the idea and now I am really anxious to find out if it is twins because I really want it to be! Plus my daughter keeps telling me she has a brother and sister coming so I am REALLY hoping it is. What do you guys think my chances are? When did you find out you were carrying twins?
