Has anyone had early signs they were having twins?

I'm only 8wks along, this would be my 3rd or with how i'm feeling 3rd and 4th. I'm wondering if anyone knew or had signs this early, that did turn out to be twins. Yes, twins run in both sides of our family, quite strongly in his. Lately i feel like i have just blown up over the last month and with my first two i barely showed at 3 months along so this is all got my head spinning with how i dont fit my clothes already and im barely into this. I don't know what to expect or how to tell really. I can't sleep at night lately and am tired all day, but i push my self not to nap so i can sleep at night, doesnt make the most difference so far. cravings and foods that make me cringe are already there, when with my first two it wasnt till my second trimester that i felt like that. Advice is so welcome right now, i'm trying not to freak out.

well my first was a singleton, but my Fiance & i both have twins are in both sides. Plus ive miscarried & it was twins so i have an Extremely good chance that when we try this spring, i get double the fun. So im in the boat with you when we try. The best thing to do, i would think is get an early vaginal Ultrasound. They can be used much earlier then the tummy ones & you can try & see whats going on in there. Its like a wand. & talk to your doctor about how your feeling, you never know if it may mean something else. But just remember to relax, eat & drink well, & rest when your kids let you. your still pregnant, twins or not, so do what your body tell you too hun. Best of luck to you hun ^_^

Congrats, I was just browsing from the 1st. trimester board & I ran across you. I hope that I'm only having one this time, but twins only run in the females family (fraternal) and the more children you have the quicker you show. As for symptoms, its hard to say because everyone is different, I couldnt get out of bed for three months, but my friend she was not ill at all. Well either way its a blessing, Good Luck!

I hope that I'm only having one this time, but twins only run in the females family (fraternal) and the more children you have the quicker you show. I had the vaginal ultrasound two weeks later and the twins showed up as plain as day! Now here I am 15weeks & 2days out and I CAN'T WAIT to meet my little Thing1 & Thing2!!!
