The two BIGGEST differences between this twin pregnancy and my previous singletons was my increase in appetite at the beginning (before I even knew I was carrying twins)....I felt like I had to eat ALL the time....and my nausea (no vomitting) was REALLY bad too -- I had ALL day sickness, not just morning sickness. At 12 weeks along & my first U/S, I found out that I was carrying twins! U/S is the sure way of knowing. Good luck!

I had my 1st U/S at 12 weeks 3 days & the U/S tech. was able to tell me very confidently that I was carrying twins. At 6 Weeks 4 days, they might be able to tell you if they see one or two egg yolk sacks, but a later U/S will most likely confirm twins or a singleton.
