Chance of having twins?

I know there's no real way to know until you know, but . . . I'm curious about our chances of having twins. I am 30, my husband is 27. I'm overweight (BMI of 29), bit not obese. Most importantly, I think is my family history. My maternal grandmother is an identical twin who gave birth to fraternal twins, but my mother was a single birth. My paternal grandmother was a fraternal twin. No one in my parents' generation nor my generation has had twins.

Any thoughts on our chances?

From what I read on webmd and other pregnancy boards that identical twins is purely random, not genetics. Fraternal twins do run in families and it is the female side. So it sound like you do have a higher chance of having twins. Good luck!!!
