Movement

19w2d, still no movement. Seeing as how this is my first and I'm a little overweight, no surprise there. I wish they'd move around so I can feel them, but at the same time I know that once they start, they won't stop!

How far along were you when you first started feeling movement (if you have yet) and is one more active than the other?

I think I started feeling movement around week 16. These are my second pregnancy. It is great to feel the movement but I can't always differentiate between the two babies. Maybe because they are laying diagnonally in my belly. When I was pregnant with DD I felt reassurance that she was ok with the movement, but this time I'm alway trying to figure out if I'm feeling both babies or only one.

At first I felt a lot more movement on the right side. Now it is fairly even. The movement has slowed down some. I think because they are pretty crowded. (33 wks).

I can't wait for my appointment tomorrow to check on them.

I hope you feel movement soon! It is so neat!

Diagonally huh? That's gotta be weird. I still haven't felt any "flutters," but sometimes they do somersaults to get comfortable. The other day I had been sleeping on my left side and when I turned to lay on my back, the baby on the right shifted completely around. It felt like I had a grapefruit sticking out of my abdomen and they pushed my belly button up funny. That baby continued to lay like that the entire day, making it difficult to do anything normal, because "she" (I call the left one he, the right one she even though I don't know) kept throwing off my center of gravity. Eventually she settled back to a normal position.

This morning the twin on the left did a somersault after I flipped from my side to my back. But he isn't as dramatic as his twin, so he immediately went to a normal position rather than being silly all day. I think that one sits behind the other, closer to my spine, head down towards my pelvis. The baby on the right, last time we had an ultrasound, had her head right by her twin's, at a diagonal position, feet pointing to my ribs and right side.

I can't wait til the big U/S Wednesday!!

Lol, yeah, I know! I'm thinking that I probably feel them move and just don't recognize it as such, since this is my first pregnancy. I know they ARE moving, because during my ultrasound, they wouldn't hold still in the beginning to check their gender! Silly girls. Of course, I hadn't eaten that day...and I drank about two cups of coffee (unusual for me since being pregnant)...so they had more than plenty of energy.
