Hey Ladies!! I am 30, pregnant with twins. I also have a 2 year old son that will almost be 3 when the twins get here. I am 14 weeks!!
I am due Sept. 12th, but my doctor has already said it will be August. My son was 9 lbs. 5 oz!!
I have gestational diabetes (also had it with my first) and I am taking 2 shots per day right now!! It is very managable so far, I just have to watch everything I eat. Not fun when you are preggo!! I also have been going to the doctor every 2 weeks since 6 weeks......not fun either.
I will find out sometime in April what I am having........I am so ready!!!
I am so excited about this board to be able to get to know you other twin mommies!!

Welcome! I'm glad you joined us - seems like this board is off to a slow but steady start.
When did you find out about the GD? I had them test me early because it runs in the family, but while the first test was slightly abnormal (I think it was due to the Fruity Pebbles), the 3 hour test was fine. I know they test again around weeks 26-28. I'm a little worried that one will be bad because I've started feeling thirstier a lot more lately.
I find out Wednesday what we're having. I'm so excited! Can't wait to find out what you and Kelsey are having, too! Can't believe you have to wait til April - seems like it will take forever, but I know that time has flown for me and my husband. I'm sure it will for you, too!

Oh, yeah...with your first baby being so big, what do they guess the twins will weigh when they come due? ...I can't imagine a 9 pound baby!

Lol, Kelsey, no worries! Sometimes we all get busy. I know that I won't be on during the weekends, and sometimes I don't hop on during the week - depends on work, even though I usually have nothing to do.

I hope both you ladies get your boy and girl! That's what DH and I wanted. We are getting the two girls though. In a way, that is a blessing because I am SO looking forward to putting on those "butt-ruffle" diaper covers! They are so cute!!

We considered Abigail as a name, and my name is Alexandria, so didn't want to use anything close to it like Lexi. Eli is a great name, though! Our little boys would have been Anthony and Michael.
I'm tellin' ya though - I would name a girl Michael if DH would let me!
