Gift Registry

Has anyone created a gift registry? My mother had me set one up at Babies 'R' Us a while ago, and had me put double the items for pretty much everything because they are twins. The only thing we didn't double up on was a swing and a bouncer, figuring if one is in one, the other can be in the other. We will also be setting one up at Target, because they have some good stuff, too, and it's significantly cheaper.

What are your thoughts? Double the items? Any place yall would recommend for a registry instead of BrU?

I'm not doing a registry this time. We are having girls and I have a 2 yr old girl at home. Luckily we saved all her stuff. I have tons of clothes (lots of generous people when I had DD) And we have all her other things as well.

I'm not really doubling on much. I did purchase the extra carseat, an extra pac-n-play, a double stroller, and two cribs. I figured they could share/alternate the rest. I did buy two sets of matching outfits (white tutu onsies, and pink dresses) so I would have something alike for hospital pictures/going home outfits/birth announcements. Mine are fraternal and I'm not concerned about them matching all the time but for special occasions it is nice.

Of course my twins aren't here yet so I don't have any experience in what they will need. I'm now considering if I want to do some type of twin baby sling and twin nursing pillow.

Good luck on registering! I used BRU the last time. Target is also a good choice.

I created one with BRU and for fun I went and checked out walmart and found that they had the same exact item but much cheaper. So I put all the big ticket items on my walmart registry and left the little items on my BRU registry.
