I really would like to see this exchange be more active. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can make this happen since the old format will probably never come back? I think when the new format took place that us Type 1's were hurt even more.
MrsCora01 responded:
There have been a number of T1 type posts on the other board and I never miss an opportunity to send folks here. What I have seen is that very often those sorts of posts seem to be one shot deals. One question and the person disappears. I would like to see this more active too and will try to start more discussions. I do participate on the other board, but so often the stuff seems to be in left field. The whole T3 diabetes, electromagnetic field stuff drives me nuts!

So true Cora with the one shot deals. So often people ask for help and then don't let us know how they are doing. We don't know if advice given helps or not.
feelinghigh replied to Lizzy19641951's response:
What I've been noticing is there is more confusion on giving advise on the other board. Seems like we sometimes need to ask if they are t1 or t2 to give an accurate answer. There are times though you can tell which type they are just by some of the stuff they say.

I got aggravated yesterday with my own sister. Her husband is pre-diabetic and she told me that t1 and t2 is the same thing. HOW MANY TIMES do I need to explain this to her???
Lizzy19641951 replied to feelinghigh's response:
Some people just never seem to get "it" no matter how many times it's explained!

Takes one to know/understand one!

Tanks one to understand/know one!

feelinghigh replied to arealgijoe's response:
That's right JD! So, where have you been? I don't see you on here much anymore?
